WE TRANSLATE WRITTEN TEXTS, BUT ALSO ACT AS COURT INTERPRETERS
In essence, we use the term translation when referring to the written language (texts) and interpretation when referring to the spoken language (speeches, interviews, statements).

The legal specialty involves both activities: translation (written texts) and interpretation (spoken speech). We are not only qualified to translate documents into Spanish; but also to be the voice of foreign persons in legal contexts, such as trials. Court interpreters are called upon when one of the parties involved in a trial (plaintiffs/defendants, prosecution/defence, witnesses, experts, etc.) is not fluent in Spanish and needs help understanding the questions and voicing the answers.
The video also shows how the interpreter takes notes (which allows him to replicate the speech in the same order and without omitting details) and the pauses that must be made during the intervention so the interpreter can speak.

All the documentation we handle, both files requiring translation and supporting documents for trials and interviews, is subject to strict confidentiality.
